Attractions
Summer
are too numerous to mention. While Deer Lake is relatively isolated and quiet it is also well situated to take advantage of the many local attractions. It is just minutes from Algonquin Park, horseback riding, hiking and mountain bike trails. There are several local golf courses. And it’s also just minutes from Bancroft, the Mineral Capital of Canada, with regular rock and mineral collection tours, live theatre, art galleries, and shops.
